    Gold Miners Glitter in Hong Kong on Speculation Prices May Continue to Rise

    In Asia Friday Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index rose 0.7%, with the rapidly rising price of gold pushing mining companies higher. In China the Shanghai Composite sank 1.8% and Japan’s Nikkei 225 Index remained virtually unchanged.
