McCormick & Co. Inc. recalled some of its Golden Dipt Fry Easy All-Purpose Batter mix because it may contain eggs due to a packaging mistake that put pouches of funnel cake batter in the fry batter boxes, said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Consumers who have egg allergies risk a potentially life-threatening reaction if they eat the product. No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to the company.
